During my trip to Italy, on the train from Pisa to Florence. I wrote a little poem.

Usually, I'm pretty much okay doing things alone. I frequently shop alone in Singapore, find it therapeutic, being lost in my own thoughts, dreaming, thinking, but on the train to Florence, I was hit by waves of sadness and loneliness. I closed my eyes, leaned against the window, hoping to sleep and that when i woke up, I would be my usual self again. I saw myself at home, having steamboat with my family, watching tv, shopping with friends, eating at restaurants. It was all so wonderful, I felt the warmth all around me, heard their laughters but soon realized that I was only day dreaming. For that one moment of pleasure, I became even more depressed. That night, was the my most difficult night since I reached here.

And so, on the train, i wrote a little poem.

离乡孤人千里外
乘车寻忧赏花香
夜降归宿终思乡
几回入眠梦寻家

TKGS School Song

Hey there. =)

Two days ago, Lynnette, my dear ex-tkgssb section mate sent me two music pieces that she did. She did surprise me a bit because of the choice of song -the TKGS school song. As she said in the email "both are jams, improvised", and it sure sounds more interesting than the original one. =P

visa

i hate the freaking visa.

The stupid freaking visa expires on the 1st of July. My flight is from Paris on the 24th July. So what am i suppose to do? Go to a freaking non eu country , get a stamp on my passport and re-enter France based on the 90 days free entry facility?

Find a non eu country to go to..britain, switzerland both don't stamp your passport. My only hope now..Africa ( eh?) or Turkey which is at the other end of europe. Hmmz..sux.

Why cant I apply for a Carte de Sejour!!!!! Argh. Cannot extend visa, cannot apply for another visa, cannot travel to other eu countries with my current visa. What's next. what's the freaking use of the visa.

As I said b4, moral of the story: If you gonna do a six month exchange. pick another eu country.

Food craving

Great..just missed lunch again. So now im in a i-want-to-eat-everything mood. 3 hrs to dinner..=|

family : home cooked food or 煮炒 (all in one..lalalal!)
yvonne: sushi
jane: thai food oui? (heehee)
lynn, ta, jt: what else? tom's palette!

i still want to eat
1. nasi goreng/mee goreng,
2. Chicken and century egg porridge,
3. fried chicken or whatever that is deep deep fried,
4. bbq chicken,
5. Mee pok ( how can i forget this!)

Give me anything unhealthy!!!!! Anyone care to join me?

Pisa

Italy trip (Pisa)
I took a day trip to Pisa, although I was advised otherwise. They say its not worth the effort, just a screwed building.

The camera went bongkus again. =\ So had to use my phone...haiz.

Asked strangers to help me 拍照。


After 5 or 6 tries with different strangers, I gave up. im never going to get a leaning tower of Pisa with my face in it. =( haiz...but one without meee! is better than nothing. =\


HeeHee..the constant free entertainment around me..Hee hee hee..


hmmz..i think i enjoyed that more than the Pisa....oopz!

Ms. Me: Hey, will you ever go with someone with higher qualification or earns more than you?
Mr. Male: Erh, it will be very difficult, you know..i doubt so.

Which left me pondering..

Yangfan and my fault

Great, I have just ruined someone's holiday.

i was supposed to host my friend when he visited lyon. But then but then...

We had agreed upon that a few weeks ago with him telling me, "im coming next next sunday". But with all the holidays this month and trips i made recently, it never quite occurred to me the exact date he was coming.

So yesterday, a Sunday, I woke up and thought to myself," Hmm..he didnt contact me through msn. So I guess it should be next Sunday then." Furthermore, this coming weekend is a long weekend again, with the ascension holiday falling on thursday and friday, so people will be out to play.Thinking that I was free, i went off to play.

Imagine my horror when i read his messages on my phone, after groggily waking up to answer a phone call this morning. Of course he couldnt contact me through msn because he was out in other cities playing. And blur me, never ever remember that i have a phone and went 3 days without checking the messages in my phone.

And yesterday was his birthday. =|

Im so terrible.

My roomie is powerful

This post is titled : My roomie is powerful

Roomie : Omg..we have five days free (May day+weekend), two days of school and then another five days free again (Some memorial day+weekend).

Moments later: Okay, I have decided. I'm going to Spain and Portugal.

2 days later: Poof! Off she went..

There you go..the difference btw a pro and a novice.
1. Two days to plan a 14 days trip. I took a full 2 weeks to plan a 19 days trip
2. We just bloody came back from a near 3 weeks trip. Where on earth does she get the energy from? Though tempted to join her, I'm too tired to even step out of the room.
3.The last time i travelled alone, i made sure she and my sister knew exactly where I was everyday and sms-ed her practically everyday. I haven got a single idea where exactly she is right now.
